Record the cup before searching for a lid

Start with the full manufacturer cup code, not just a size such as sixteen ounces. The selected Karat C-KDL626 dome record names C-KC16 among its matching cups. The selected C-KCL90 flat record instead names C-KCP16 and C-KCP16W. Those are different product records even though the cup descriptions share a capacity. Rim Supply keeps the exact code visible so a familiar ounce label cannot silently connect unrelated families.

Read the selected lid’s own list

The limited finder uses the matching-cup entries explicitly published on these two current Karat/LollicupStore product pages. A listed relationship means there is a reviewed maker source for that pair. It does not mean Rim Supply installed, inverted or leak-tested the combination. A cup missing from the selected list stays unknown in this dataset. Missing evidence is not a physical rejection test, and another brand’s same-diameter title does not fill that gap.

Keep the intended service separate

Both selected lids belong to cold-service records. The PLA straw selected here is also marked for cold drinks. A cup that can be ordered from the same supplier is not automatically approved for every beverage temperature or lid. The public tools do not turn a source match into a hot-fill, microwave or leak-resistance result. A different intended use needs its own current product evidence rather than a calculation based on the rim label.

Use a purchase note that can survive a reorder

A useful note reads cup C-KCP16W, lid C-KCL90, selected case of one thousand. The useful next check is whether the current seller still identifies that exact pair and selling count. If the carton arrives with another cup code, set the saved pairing aside until the discrepancy is resolved. Do not let a familiar white paper appearance override the printed product identity. Actual received labels and independent compatibility review remain pending.

A clear two-line request

If one station uses C-KC16 and another uses C-KCP16W, retain separate rows. Request the named lid for each reviewed cup code rather than ordering a combined quantity for sixteen-ounce cups. The selected dome and flat records serve different named lists. An incoming carton with only a capacity description cannot resolve which row it belongs to. Ask for the actual cup identity before merging stock or accepting an alternative lid case.
